Noberto

Hola!

Another successful week here in Cruz del Sur. 

-Tuesday I had a solid intercambio with Elder Toledo from Ecuador where we got some good work in and were able to help a golden family (Marina and her kids Florencia and Alejandro) accept a baptism date for a few weeks from now.  Thanks to the temple another family can be united forever.

-Thursday another intercambio with Elder Ashton.  He now has 4 months in Chile and has shown incredible progress thanks to his obedience and hard work.  He has taught me a ton.

-Saturday I had the honor of baptizing my great friend Noberto, a man who has had so many trials and problems in his life and is now doing his part to help establish Zion here in Chile.  He is truly an inspiration to me.

-On Sunday we had a very successful day as a zone bringing tons of new people to church to start their path towards baptism.  We finished the day in a noche de hogar with our Venezulana family where we made Venezuelan and American food:  arepas and PB+J.

Life could not be better here in Chile.  Especially with all of our preparation now to receive the prophet in 2 weeks.  Living the gospel really does bring true joy.
